If you’re sick and tired of being forced to learn all about specific injuries when you just want to do more to help, then keep reading because this tip could be exactly what you’re looking for!

The Bottom Line Of This Tip Is:

Don’t underestimate the power of small.

Nature is full of examples of the smallest being the lifeblood of huge ecosystems – bees, krill, fungi, etc. It’s the same in business and even life in general – success doesn’t happen overnight

It’s the smallest, usually the most overlooked things that make the biggest difference in life and it’s no different when it comes to sports injuries.

Most coaches think of sports injuries as overuse conditions with fancy names and a list of symptoms attached but the reality is that (in the majority of cases) the pain wouldn’t be there if the joints could move more freely – and this is where injury hacking comes in

Small amounts of variation of movement can make a huge difference to how an activity feels, and of course, how the joints are being used – which helps to keep them open and moving freely

And the best thing is, you don’t have to take specialist qualifications or dive into any great injury detail to help your people with their existing injury problems if you can apply variety of movement in this way.

If every sports and fitness coach in the world was playing even just a small part like this, sports injuries would be rare.

And I don’t mean huge variations either. A simple foot position change or a different grip makes all the difference.

So, let’s put this into practice right now. Take your favourite movement, then try it slightly differently – like with your toes turned in, or out and see how different it feels to your body (regardless of how technically correct it might be).

It feels fun to investigate your movement like this doesn’t it?

This also happens to be a great way to reduce emotional and physical stress, which are the two leading risk factors and causes of injury – so you’ve got two for one, how cool is that?

How many different ways can you think of to vary that one movement?
