Nobody mentioned it.
Not one person.
But this ONE thing can help to multiply both your clients’ fitness results AND their resistance to injury at light speed.
What is it?

A few weeks ago, I asked a group of Personal Trainers what their favourite tool for preventing injuries was.
They mentioned things like:
- Nutrition
- Massage
- Stretching
- Foam Rolling
- Sleep
- Good form
- Fatigue Management
Which are all fine and valid approaches.
But do you notice anything about all these elements?
They’re all things that happen TO our clients, or things that we can TEACH our clients.
But not one of these factors has anything to do with actually OBSERVING what IS happening WITHIN our clients’ bodies.
I know, I get it.
As coaches, we’re super generous, helpful people.
But being helpful doesn’t start with what WE can do.
It starts with understanding the situation.
This point was brought home to me a few years ago when my Grandad was caring for my Nanna, who had suffered from a series of mini-strokes and was declining with dementia.
He would take her out on trips in the car as much as he could, because he loved driving and it helped them both get out of the house.
Nanna couldn’t walk and struggled to even stand up some days, so getting her out of the car was a real problem.
Grandad was always touched by how many folks offered to help when they saw him struggling, but it would irritate him intensely when those supposedly helpful folks would assume they knew what to do, and just tried to get on with it.
They always got in the way, and the whole episode would end up taking longer and be more complex than it should have been.
One day, a guy offered to help and instead of assuming, he asked my Grandad “what can I do to help?”.
This allowed Grandad to get the exact help he knew he needed much more quickly, instead of having to wait for the situation to develop to the point where the “help” recognised that their way didn’t work.
Our clients’ bodies are no different.
They have been dealing with the situation far longer than we have.
They know exactly what help they need.
And every single person, in every single second of the day, is displaying physical signals of what they are struggling with, both emotionally and physically.
We just need to get better at reading the signs.
Recognising these signs MUST be the first step in either preventing or helping people recover from injury.
Why?
Because if it isn’t, we’re just diving in with what WE think will work best…and I can guarantee that without that initial understanding of what’s happening in your clients’ bodies, it won’t.
This first step is so critical to your success with your coaching and preventing injuries that I’ve created a training that gives you the exact framework.
The training is called “How to Squeeze Hidden Results from Your Coaching Practices” and we cover the specific details of this topic in Secret #1: How to Triple Your Clients’ Fitness Results in the First Few Seconds of Your Session

Sports and fitness coaches aren’t doing this.
It doesn’t even occur to them that they can.
This is your opportunity to truly help your clients AND get streaks ahead of all the other blissfully oblivious coaches out there.
